About Us

Giles was originally formed as a limited company in the early 1960's and has therefore been arranging all classes of insurance for forty years. In 1986 the existing management team bought the business from the Giles family and since that time, we have grown to become one of the largest brokers in the Hampshire area. We moved to our new High Street premises in March 2003 and currently employ 23 staff. We are regulated by the FSA.

Giles have 2 offices in the Hampshire area, namely Alton and Petersfield and an office in Rugby, Warwickshire. Our clients however are based nationwide.

Although we deal with all classes of insurance, we specialise in motor, household, commercial/industrial and travel.

We believe it is extremely important in today's insurance marketplace to provide a first class service to our customers - not only when providing quotations but also backing this service up with help and assistance should a claim occur. To this end we have a specialist claims department.

We do not provide online quotations as we like to arrange a special bespoke quotation for your individual requirements.
